EVO for single-action glass doors

EVO for single-action glass doors is a door hinge with closing speed adjustment and constant braking control, suitable for doors opening up to 180° and additionally available as a version with automatic closing from 160° to 0°. It is equipped with a shock absorber with integrated overpressure relief, which prevents breakage in case of accidental tugging.

Application areas

First choice for office and administration

EVO is primarily installed in office and administration buildings. However, the door hinge is also excellent for separating specific areas in medical practices or in high-end residential buildings, such as large apartments with a lot of space. EVO is even used in many other areas.

The hydraulic concept

Hinges with door closing function

EVO has an integrated hydraulic damping system, which ensures a smooth and controlled closing process and prevents the door from swinging several times in the zero position. The doors can be optionally realized with door push handles or with latch lock and counter box. The latch of the lock is quietly and safely pulled into the strike plate. As a result, there is no damage to glass, door hinges and lock, nor noise pollution. Thanks to a stepless regulation on the hinge, the individual adjustment of the closing speed to any door weight, door width and the walking speed of the users is possible.

The hydraulic concept

Internationally patented

The hydraulic hinges are protected by international patents. They have TÜV certification in accordance with EN 1154:2006 and are thus functionally equivalent to traditional door closers. The efficiency of the hinges is higher than traditional door closers (90% to 60%). The doors can be opened manually without effort and close automatically at the set speed, so the installation of hydraulic hinges is useful wherever controlled self-closing of doors is required by law or for technical reasons.
